6 : Twin Cities, day 1

My first (and possibly only) trip to the Land of 1,000 Lakes HAD to include a visit to the second largest shopping mall in the U.S. (in terms of square footage... the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania has 24,801 more square feet, but 78 fewer stores).  We did not have time to visit all 522 retailers in the Mall of America, but covered the third floor pretty well.
One could seriously do some damage here... the fact that there's no sales tax on clothing is a bonus.

  1. was it all that you hoped it would be? I'm surprised they don't have the worlds largest thermometer there! No wonder they have to have a huge's the only place people can go when it's that cold, if they dare leave their houses at all.
